Engineering Shift Technicians are required for a Staff role based in South Dublin. We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a leading Medical Device organization based in South Dublin .
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, overhaul, adjustment and modification of plant and production equipment, as well as the fabrication of new cutting-edge equipment
Maintain production lines at optimal performance and drive continuous improvement to increase output, reduce downtime and waste;
High attention to detail, maintaining all recording and reporting systems on engineering related matters;
Assist with the training of other Engineering Technicians, new recruits and apprentices as required.
Education & Experience
Third Level Qualification or National Craft Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
A minimum of 5 years in a technician role within a high volume manufacturing environment. Preferably Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Food, Automotive, Plastics or Cosmetics.
Please note that this a shift work position, which will include evening and weekend work.
