Human Factors Engineer
Our client, a global multinational organisation are currently recruiting for a Human Factors Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based in their UK office.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute human factors programs from demographic research and early formative assessments to definitive home-use and validation studies
• Provide oversight of assessments incorporating vendor direction, study execution and data collection
• Inform and guide device development activities from assessment results and this will provide key evidence to the device risk management program
• Ensure that the Human Factors program is accurately reflected in the device development plan and you maintain the feedback loop into design and risk management
• Represent the User Interface team on device development program teams
• Develop and execute the Design Validation Plan and contribute to the technical content of device regulatory submissions

Requirements
• Degree in Science, Engineering or Psychology
• Knowledge of Human Factors and or Usability Engineering as applicable to Medical Device and or Drug-Delivery System development
• Knowledge of device design controls, ISO/FDA and global requirements as applicable to device design and regulatory labelling
• Experience of Design Iteration and Applied Design
• Knowledge of graphic design and associated software packages
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communicator; clear and concise in communications with internal and external partners
• Ability to work flexibly across a multi-disciplinary team in jointly achieving departmental goals
• Attention to detail in working approach
• Travel within Europe & US appropriate to project requirements, averaging 20% of working year
• Regular travel between the Dublin & sites in the UK
