One of our leading Medical Device Clients are looking to hire a Senior R&D Engineer that wouldindependently conduct design and development work on Class II and Class III Devices.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate technical leadership on assignments requiring the development of improved products, techniques, and procedures. Work is expected to result in the design and development of refined technologies, products, specification, materials, test methods, processes, and/or equipment
Organize, plan, track and close out design problems associated w/product performance in engineering, manufacturing, and field events
Provide oversight to Manufacturing Sites for Design, Quality and Project related activities
Provide work direction, training, and/or technical expertise to technicians and less experienced engineers
Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on technical inputs from multiple and varied sources
Use standard design processes to support product development and improve productivity. Facilitate process improvement within a specified discipline (e.g., design methodologies, standards & tool evaluation)
Participate and present at project and departmental meetings.
Drive problems solving and root cause analysis on quality related issues
Support regulatory submissions and questions
Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the Quality Policy
Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System
Experience
Batchelor in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred)
Required minimum years of work experience 6+ years
