Clinical Seating Specialist (Dublin)

Our client is a sales, marketing, and technical services company with operations across Ireland & the UK. They deliver products and solutions to assist healthcare providers achieve optimum clinical outcomes.

They are currently seeking a Clinical Seating Specialist to manage specialised seating clinics and community areas for custom moulded and modular seating systems, including mobility bases, both powered and manual. As the Clinical Seating Specialist, you will engage with a diverse range of healthcare professionals such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, clinical nurse managers, public health nurses, end-user clients, procurement, and supply officers. The role requires a strong clinical background, high level of knowledge in human biomechanics, initiative, decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Expertise: Utilise clinical knowledge to assess and recommend appropriate seating solutions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Seating Clinics Management: Conduct and manage specialised seating clinics, ensuring high standards of care and assessment for complex clients as part of a clinical team.
  • Seating Assessments: Perform comprehensive seating assessments for clients with complex needs, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a clinical team to deliver high-quality care and solutions, sharing insights and expertise with clinicians and colleagues.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key healthcare professionals to establish lasting business partnerships.
  • Sales Generation: Achieve profitable territory sales in line with annual, quarterly, and monthly targets through strategic activities with existing and potential customers.
  • Customer Support: Provide expert assistance with clinical, technical, and commercial enquiries.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities and assess new clients and market potential.
  • Market Analysis: Systematically collect, present, and interpret market and competitor information.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for the territory and supply market information punctually as required by management.
  • Event Participation: Engage in trade shows, conferences, training, and marketing activities.
  • Product Launches: Implement new product launches and other corporate initiatives within the area of responsibility
Education/Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably involving mobility and specialised seating assessments.
  • Extensive knowledge of human biomechanics is essential.
  • Essential technical ability in dealing with equipment
  • Experience with mobility product assessments is desirable.
  • Preferable knowledge of the Irish healthcare market, systems, and processes.
  • Sales and territory analysis, budget management, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Full clean driving licence.
