My client are Endovascular specialists with products to treat ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke. With offices in Germany, China and America they are going from strength to strength.



Role:
Key individual responsible for supporting and leading projects for neurovascular catheters. Provide leadership and technical skills to ensure optimal solutions are reached in a timely and cost-effective manner.



Responsibilities:
- Interacts with product stakeholders (e.g. engineering, external vendors, production, quality, regulatory, supply chain, etc.) to identify opportunities and develop appropriate strategies for implementing process improvements to increase manufacturing yields and output.
- Work with/lead internal cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers to ensure system design, architecture, and verification/validation continues to meet design inputs while implementing process improvements to increase manufacturing yields and output.
- Evaluates external process technologies and strategically identifies opportunities to implement them.
- Serve as a key communicator from the customer to the entire team.
- May serve as a representative or liaison to other Phenox sites or any external organizations, boards or committees.
- To become the technical expert (subject matter expert) on platform and complex projects.
- Develop processes, materials and solutions through in-house and out-of-house development paths.



Experience required:
- A graduate in Engineering/TechnicaI field with typically 2 or more years' experience in a medical device manufacturing environment..
- Experience with similar medical products, such as catheter delivery systems, is an advantage.
- Product and process development skills in the medical devices industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of materials and process capabilities for catheter based devices and implants.
