We’re currently recruiting for an excellent contract opportunity with a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Meath. This is a senior project management position within a global engineering function, supporting complex GMP projects across biotechnology and sterile/aseptic manufacturing environments.

This position would suit an experienced engineering Project Manager with a strong background in pharmaceutical capital projects, sterile processing design, start-up activity, EPCM coordination and cross-functional project delivery.

Duties

• Lead and manage multiple complex engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets and resource requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including EPCM partners, trade partners, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain and commercial stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure project deliverables meet company standards, compliance requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Manage dependencies, change requests and issue resolution effectively.
• Track KPIs, project outcomes and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
• Support vendor and external partner coordination as required.
• Prepare executive-level updates, reports and presentations.

Education and Experience

• B.Sc., M.Sc. or M.Eng. degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years post-academic engineering experience.
• Strong experience in aseptic or sterile processing design and start-up environments.
• Extensive project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or GMP manufacturing environments.
• Experience coordinating EPCM partners, trade partners and cross-functional site teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
